Can I Assemble My Car Lift Myself

This is a very common question many customers ask us when they are considering purchasing a Car Lift. “Can I install it myself?”  Most of our customers do. Some opt to have it professionally installed. The instructions come with the lift, along with all the hardware, and there is phone support if necessary. They will spend as much time as necessary with you. If you don’t have much free time, technical knowledge, or are just not too handy with tools, then professional installation may be best for you. If you are not in one of our installation zones that we cover directly, we can set you up with a local installer in your area. This would be a separate transaction between you and the installer. Fees will vary, depending on which model is purchased, how far the installer has to travel, and what responsibilities are expected of them. For instance, do you need the installer to receive the product and then bring it out and install it, or can you unload it at your location, and the installer is just coming out to install it? Most installers will do everything except for the electric hook-up. There are some very heavy pieces for these lifts, and if you plan on installing it yourself, you will need to be able to handle these pieces. Many commercial locations will have a forklift, or some other piece of equipment to offload the lift from the delivery truck, while most home/hobbyists will not. These are all factors that will determine the fees involved. Contact us today and we will provide you with an estimate, or put you in touch with a local installer who will quote you directly. The installers we set you up with are true professionals who have been doing this kind of work for years, will perform the job in a timely manner and will do it right. Click on the link below to see one of our customers who created a video documenting his installation of his BendPak Lift
