Clean Design

Tom Troy - Seneca, SC

“The ceiling height is 10 ft. And both cars fit fine. The lift quality is excellent and the clean design is great. At 5’8”, working on the bottom of my Healey is a comfortable stand up job. My F-150 fits fine. A few of my neighbors may want one now.”As you can see by this picture, you don’t need a lot of space to be able to store one car above another. Of course, the vehicle sizes will matter, as well as how high the garage door track runs. We have a simple formula here to determine how high you need the ceiling to be. Just add the height of both automobiles together. Then add 10 more inches to that figure. That is how high your ceiling must be at a minimum in order for those specific cars to fit one over another. As you can see, people will fit these into some pretty tight spaces. Notice how he parked the top auto on the lift backwards, so that the lower hood area would lie underneath the garage door track with just inches to spare. Necessity is the mother of invention.
