While this Car Lift is made to straddle pits in oil change and lube shops, that’s not it’s only use. Many shop owners that don’t have a pit will get it for performing body work, brake work and tire rotations.

These customers like it for it’s ability to allow access to the underside of the vehicle, making it a full service lift. And with the home DIY crowd, there are many customers who don’t have a tall enough ceiling for a full rise lift, so this lift makes perfect sense in that situation.
It has a 6000 lb capacity, so it will handle typical passenger vehicles and light trucks. It’s lowered height is 4 inches, and has ramps on the approach side as well as the far side. The raised height is 26 inches, and it comes with 2 inch tall rubber lift blocks that you can place on the lift pad surface to correspond with the vehicle’s jacking points. These blocks are handy for those cars with jacking points that are deeper up inside the framework of the vehicle. There is also an optional LR-4A arm kit for those times when the automobile’s jacking points are closer together than the lift pads are. If the pit in your Lube Shop is a little on the wide side, you may need this accessory. Typical pits will run around 37 to 39 inches wide.
